ALUPROFF IS A WORKPLACE WHERE HEALTH AND SAFETY MUST BE PUT FIRST. A PLACE WHERE THE WELLBEING OF OUR EMPLOYEES BOTH AT THE WORKPLACE AND OUTSIDE, IS IMPORTANT. KEEPING A WORK / LIFE BALANCE IS NOT JUST SOMETHING WE TALK ABOUT BUT SOMETHING WE PROTECT AND PRIORITIZE. WE ALL HAVE TO THRIVE IN OUR WORKPLACE, BOTH SOCIALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
HEALTH- AND DENTAL INSURANCE, ERGONOMIC WORKING STATIONS, FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS AND CONDITIONS, AND ACCESS TO HEALTHY, ORGANIC FOOD, ARE ONLY SOME OF OUR INITIATIVES. WE ALSO HAVE A STAFF TASK FORCE WHICH ORGANIZES SOCIAL EVENTS.

ALUPROFFS INITIATIVES

INTERNAL WORK ENVIRONMENT TEAM
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A WORK ENVIRONMENT TEAM, CONSISTING OF EMPLOYEES / REPRESENTATIVES FROM PRODUCTION, STOCK AND ADMINISTRATION, DEALING WITH THE DAILY WORKING ENVIRONMENT ISSUES IN THE COMPANY. THE AIM OF THE GROUP IS TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF EMPLOYEES HEALTH AND SAFETY THROUGH PREVENTIVE APV WORK, AND THROUGH CLOSE DIALOGUE AND CONTACT WITH STAFF. THE WORK OF THE GROUP HAS ALREADY RESULTED IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ERGONOMIC WORKPLACES, AND OF NEW PROCEDURES FOR HANDLING LARGE GOODS, STORAGE AND CHEMICALS, LABELING OF STOCK ETC.
SOCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A CROSS FUNCTIONAL STAFF TEAM, WHICH EVERY YEAR IS ALLOCATED A FINANCAL AMOUNT FOR SOCIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR COMPANY EMPLOYEES, AND EVEN FOR THEIR FAMILIES. THE GROUP AUTONOMOUSLY DECIDES HOW, WHEN AND WHERE THE EVENTS ARE TAKING PLACE. THIS HAS RESULTED IN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS A CURLING TOURNAMENT, BARBECUE, AND AMUSEMENT PARK EXCURSIONS. IN ADDITION TO THIS WE HAVE OUR RECURRING CHRISTMAS AND SUMMER PARTIES.
HEALTH, WELLBEING AND EXERCISE
AT ALUPROFF, WE HAVE FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS AND -LOCATIONS, WHICH MEANS WE ADAPT BOTH WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION TO THE BEST POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR THE EMPLOYEE. WE ENCOURAGE DAILY EXERCISE AND A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE EG. VIA WALK & TALK MEETINGS, AVAILABLE FRESH FRUIT, FLEXIBLE BREAK TIMES ETC. WE BUY ORGANIC PRODUCTS FOR CONSUMPTION AND PARTICIPATE WITH COMPANY TEAMS IN CHARITY EVENTS. ADDITIONALLY, ALL EMPLOYEES ARE GIVEN HEALTH INSURANCE AND DENTAL INSURANCE AS A PART OF THEIR CONTRACT.
