SAFETY AT WORK
NATURALLY, OUR DANISH PRODUCTION SPACE FOLLOWS ALL APPLICABLE SAFETY RULES AND LEGISLATIONS. THROUGH OUR CODE OF CONDUCT, WE ARE SETTING SIMILAR STANDARDS FOR OUR SUPPLIERS REGARDING DECENCY AND SAFETY. WE CONDEMN THE USE OF CHILD LABOR, MODERN SLAVE TRADE AND THE LIKE. WE WOULD LIKE OUR CODE OF CONDUCT TO INFLUENCE OUR SUPPLIERS INTO MAKING REGULATIONS OF WORK CONDITIONS LIKE WORKING HOURS, BREAKS, WAGES ETC.
WORK ENVIRONMENT TEAM
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A WORK ENVIRONMENT TEAM, CONSISTING OF EMPLOYEES / REPRESENTATIVES FROM PRODUCTION, STOCK AND ADMINISTRATION, DEALING WITH THE DAILY WORKING ENVIRONMENT ISSUES IN THE COMPANY. THE AIM OF THE GROUP IS TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF EMPLOYEES HEALTH AND SAFETY THROUGH PREVENTIVE APV WORK, AND THROUGH CLOSE DIALOGUE AND CONTACT WITH STAFF. THE WORK OF THE GROUP HAS ALREADY RESULTED IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ERGONOMIC WORKPLACES, AND OF NEW PROCEDURES FOR HANDLING LARGE GOODS, STORAGE AND CHEMICALS, LABELING OF STOCK ETC.
SOCIAL EVENTS
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A CROSS FUNCTIONAL STAFF TEAM, WHICH EVERY YEAR IS ALLOCATED A FINANCAL AMOUNT FOR SOCIAL EVENTS FOR COMPANY EMPLOYEES, AND EVEN FOR THEIR FAMILIES. THE GROUP AUTONOMOUSLY DECIDES HOW, WHEN AND WHERE THE EVENTS ARE TAKING PLACE. THIS HAS RESULTED IN ACTIVITIES SUCH AS A CURLING TOURNAMENT, BARBECUE, AND AMUSEMENT PARK EXCURSIONS. IN ADDITION TO THIS WE HAVE OUR RECURRING CHRISTMAS AND SUMMER PARTIES.
